    Tips to Help You Spot a Great Hypnosis Service

    Hypnotherapy can be a wonderful way to help with a wide range of issues, such as weight management, smoking, depression, anxiety, phobias, lack of confidence, post-traumatic stress, and feelings of grief and loss. However not everyone can accurately perform hypnotherapy and it is important to ascertain whether the hypnosis service you are using is the right one for you. Here are a few tips to help you spot a good hypnosis center from a bad:

    • Tell you “how much”: If you’re considering using a hypnosis center that promises to you that you will lose 30 pounds in a week, reconsider. Everyone is different and it is impossible to know exactly how well the treatment will go or how well you will do. The same goes for any service that will be “permanent.” No hypnosis should promise permanency with their sessions. Beware of any service that claims to be able to tell you how much and that your new state will be permanent.
    • Promise of results in a set amount of time: Any great hypnosis provider will not approve at making promises about the effectiveness of the service or giving a set time frame for when and how long hypnosis will work. Be cautious of a service with these types of claims.
    • Lack of certification: A good hypnotist will hold certification from a governing body overseeing the practice of hypnosis, such as the American Council of Hypnotists Examiners, the National Guild of Hypnotists, or the American Board of Hypnotherapist. If a hypnosis provider lacks credentials, think twice before engaging their services.
